PHILLIPS, David Rhys (1868-1952) Swansea 1905-1939 (CL (Joint) 1919, Welsh Librarian 1937)
He built up the extensive Welsh and local history collections and compiled the catalogue which is still in use. He wrote widely on Welsh history and was the founder in 1906 of the Welsh Bibliographic Society.
